I came for drinks, and I must say, this is a beautiful lounge with immedicable service, very friendly and professional staff. Great service and great drinks. I had the grand margarita and the martini. Both were made perfectly. The views are amazing as well. Great overall. The speakeasy side was closed for an event, but I will enjoy that space next time.

Everything was perfect and the fries are fantastic!!! You would think the view would be good enough but no, the food is amazing, the service is on point and I will be going back next time I'm in NYC.

I don't have words to describe this place, is just amazing. I had the best dinner of my life

Came here for dinner and the experience while here in NYC. Open to Centurion members and a select few who can get reservations. Must show photo ID to get in the elevator to the 55th floor. Lots of staff present. Very service orientated. There are a few restaurants there. We are at the studio. We had drinks in the lobby area overlooking the city. We went to our table and given menus. Menu had several offerings. We got scallops and Brazino. We started with a ceaser salad. Bread was served. Ceaser was good. 3 decent sized scallops served with rice. Brazino was very good but not a lot of food. Our waiter was uninspiring. Justin the Floor Manager invited us to 1850 the invite only speak easy and bought us a drink and a special desert from the chef which was very good. Overall nice experience and Justin made it better!

I only expected good ambience and amazing city views, but was pleasantly surprised that the food turned out to be the highlight!!! For the drinks we ordered Pina colada ( good) and something with beetroot which we loved more. It's been a couple of weeks so I don't remember the names of all the dishes but posting pics hoping it helps Everything we ordered tasted delicious, well cooked and aromatic. Went for Mr's bday for which they provided complimentary chocolate cake. Highly recommend this one! Yes it's expensive, but food and views and the entire experience justifies the $$$$$$$

After many years in NYC, it is sometimes hard to be impressed, and even harder to see something you've never seen before. Well this place managed both. Firstly, the service and food were both top notch. Oysters were some of the best I've ever had, the tartare was at the exact tip of spicy and tasty, and the scallops were all perfectly on point. The wine recommended was a 2015 Saint Estèphe which paired perfectly with everything. Then there's the view. Or rather, views. Every angle offers a different slice of NY but the framing of the Chrysler Building to the West makes me think someone must have gone floor to floor before picking 55 to accommodate that in particular. Last but not least - after a notable dessert cheesecake - we were invited to a hidden bar with soaring ceilings, more views, and a virtually endless list of drinks. That went well beyond my expectations. The experience was not inexpensive, but as is so often the case, you get what you pay for. It was however certainly unforgettable and I tip my hat to those who put this all together. They thought of all the details and are clearly masters of their respective crafts.

Came here for a couple of drinks. Reservation was organized via Amex concierge and it was somewhat seamless. The space is located on the 55th floor of One Vanderbilt. As soon you get off the elevator you should be impressed with the deco of the place, then you keep walking and see how amazing the views are. There are 3 sections here - the bar, a fancy restaurant and a less fancy restaurant (which was still fancy). Cocktails start at $20+. As I only came here for a couple of drinks, I ordered some fries. They were nice enough to serve us fresh warm bread. The butter that came along with it was so good. I wish I could take it home, I later found out it was imported from France. Service was top notch and prompt. Decor down to plates and utensils used were top notch. Views are just breathtaking. Would love to come here as a regular if the reservation process was easier ie. You don't have to call the Amex concierge every time.
